Cake decorating fun

I thought it would be fun for Mason & Avery to decorate their very own cakes. So I made a couple of heart shaped cakes from some extra mix that I had. I told them they could decorate it any way they wanted. Mason wanted to color the icing red. Knowing how red stains anything it touches, we took off their shirts, gave them toddler knives and let them go at it.

Avery put a couple swipes of icing on hers and quickly took a bite. Mason wanted to cover his whole heart before he ate it. Great job Mason!
Avery decided to add more icing to her cake after she had a few bites.

You know as well as I do, when you're done, you lick the knife.

Like I said...red stains anything it touches.

Add a few sprinkles and it's time to enjoy!

Avery got done icing her cake, added sprinkles and couldn't wait to to eat it.

What fun, we will definitley do this again.!
