Fun filled day outside

Mason and Avery came up for the weekend, so this morning when they woke up guess what they both wanted to do...You got it, go outside.

It just wouldn't be a weekend at Mamaw and Papaw's if they didn't get to ride the lean mean green machines.

Our neighbor, Mary has this cute little car that they both like to ride and push each other in it.

After playing outside for awhile, we decide to take them over to the Olney City Park to play on the swings and slides. They were ready to try everything out and both of them were fearless. It made me so nervous to see them on everything that unfortunately, I didn't take any pictures.

While we were at the park, Bonita called and asked us if we wanted to go boat riding at the lake. She said she thought she had life jackets to fit the kids. However, she did mention that Avery's might be a little big. I'll let you be the judge if you think it was...

Mason was at the wheel, which thrilled him.

After our ride on the lake, Mason wanted to swim. We dipped his legs in, but that wasn't good enough. I didn't have my swimsuit on and neither did Mike, but thanks to my wonderful sister, she jumped in with him. They had a blast!!

Avery wanted in the water so bad, so we dipped her feet in too, but nothing doing she wanted in all the way. Bad thing is, the life jacket was so big that when she got in the water it wanted to go even higher on her head. Mamaw said no to that and she had to settle for a short ride on the raft.

Thanks Bonita and Brett for a fun afternoon. You will make wonderful Grandparents some day.
