Mike had me buy different seats for our bicycles, so we decided to test them out today. Keep in mind that I haven't been on my bicycle since last year.
We couldn't decide where to ride, I told Mike to take off and I would follow. I really thought we would just be gone for about a half hour or so, but Mike had other thoughts...
Over to the City Park to see what was going on at the fair, nothing...Down to Steve's house, stopped and talked to him and Lynn...Went by my Mom's house, no one was home, took a potty break anyway...Getting hungry, let's go to McDonald's, first I must make it up over the overpass...took off pedalling hard, quickly realized I hadn't down shifted soon enough...running out of steam, suddenly felt Mike pushing on my butt, trying to help me up the hill...it did help, now laughing so hard that I can't keep going....Ate lunch...Mike had bigger thoughts...Let's ride out to Bonita and Brett's place at the lake..."Are you kidding me, there are some big-ass hills and I just had trouble going up a little overpass"...he's not taking no for an answer....off we went...Made it to the lake, no one there...Had to rest...butt hurts, legs hurt...dreading ride home...Took off...wind blowing against us 10 mph...made it down the hill...oh no, can't make it up the hill...got off bike and had to walk...how embarrassing!...Made it home after a 14 mile ride...whew!

The way I figure, that was 4 days worth, so I tried talking Mike into letting me off the hook for the rest of the week, but he said "No deal".
