Holiday adventure

On Sunday, Mom and I travelled to Pekin, IL to see Ashley and Jason. She hadn't seen their new house and I wanted to see the Festival of Lights in East Peoria, IL. Of course, I chose the coldest day of the year to travel. By the time we got there, it was 6 degrees below zero with a really strong wind. I'm not sure what the wind chill was, but Mom said, "If I were a guy, I would have frozen my balls off." We both had a good laugh at that one. Our "Winter Wonderland" trip was beautiful, especially when the sun hit the icy glistening trees. Sunday afternoon Jason chauffeured us around to the shopping malls. Letting us off and picking us up at the door was great! That evening we went to eat at Red Lobster and then to see the Christmas Lights. If you ever want to see lights comparable to Disney World, go to East Peoria in December. Here is a link to a few of their displays: http://www.cityofeastpeoria.com/index.cfm?pageID=28

While at Ashley's, I took the below pictures of Mom, Ashley and myself. Enjoy the holidays!
