Mike and I went to my 30 year High School Class Reunion tonight at the Olde Tyme Steakhaus. Social hour started at 5:00 and approximately 125-150 people including spouses showed up (we had over 250 in our graduating class). The name tags included our maiden name and senior picture. Normally I hate name tags, but believe me, after 30 years, they sure came in handy. There were some people that I didn't recognize and a few that I had no clue who they were even after I read their name tag. At 6:15 we started eating and the food was really good. After the meal they gave gag gifts for various things like who traveled the farthest, had the most grandchildren, divorced the most times, had the youngest child, etc... Well guess who won for still living in Olney and closest to the High School...yours truly. I received a book "Where do I go from here? Getting a life after High School". They didn't have a DJ or band so we all just stood around and talked with each other. We both had a good time, but were home by 10:00.
